B. J. SADOFF's legal work experience and current practice focuses on patent application preparation and prosecution, interference practice, appeals to the Board of Appeals and Interferences and infringement and validity opinion preparation. B.J. has worked in the areas of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, plastics, coatings, organic chemistry and chemical engineering.

B.J. has been a shareholder of Nixon & Vanderhye since 1997, having previously been an associate with Cushman Darby & Cushman and a Chemical Engineer in the Product Development Laboratory of the American Red Cross.

B.J. is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia, but is not admitted in Virginia. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and the U.S. District Court of Maryland. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association.
