Donna J. Bunton
Ms. Bunton concentrates her practice in trademark and unfair competition matters. She has been practicing all aspects of trademark law for more than 25 years for clients in a diverse range of industries, including textiles, construction equipment, building products, cosmetics, homeopathic remedies, casino games, computer data protection, telecommunications and banking.
Ms. Bunton’s experience in the trademark field encompasses all phases of trademark services, including conducting clearance searches and providing availability and registrability opinions; obtaining trademark protection for clients in the United States and throughout the world; counseling and representation in connection with appellate and inter partes proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and U.S. courts; internet domain name disputes; managing extensive U.S. and international trademark portfolios; licensing, and enforcement of trademark rights. Ms. Bunton regularly counsels clients on proper trademark usage and strategies to strengthen and broaden trademark rights.
Ms. Bunton is admitted to practice in Virginia, the District of Columbia and New York .
