Jonathon T. Reavill
Mr. Reavill focuses his practice primarily on patent litigation. His extensive litigation experience spans a variety of technical fields, including mechanical, electrical, computer, and chemical technologies. Mr. Reavill’s experience includes litigation at the federal district court and appellate levels, as well as before the International Trade Commission.
Having played a central role in numerous complex patent litigations, Mr. Reavill draws from his particular experience with jurisdictional and venue issues, procedural and discovery issues, depositions, summary judgment practice, preparation of expert reports on technical and damages issues, joint defense groups, trial preparation, jury and non-jury trials, post-trial briefing; and issues specific to patent litigation, such as claim construction, patent infringement, patent validity, and patent enforceability. Mr. Reavill has also provided primary support in cases involving other aspects of intellectual property law, such as unfair competition, trademark, and copyright issues.
Mr. Reavill is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the American Bar Association, and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
